Button Example1

Create new project, go to activity_main.xml drag and drop  a button or add the following code.

    android:id="@+id/LinearLayout1"
    android:layout_width="match_parent"
    android:layout_height="match_parent"

    <Button
        android:id="@+id/click_button"
        android:layout_width="wrap_content"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
        android:text="@string/button" />

</LinearLayout>

import android.view.View;
import android.view.View.OnClickListener;
import android.widget.Button;
import android.widget.Toast;

@Override
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {

setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);
Button b = (Button) findViewById(R.id.click_button);
b.setOnClickListener(this);
